Leinenkugel’s Summer Shandwich
Summer is high shandy season, and Leinenkugel’s was looking for a deliciously unexpected idea to make Summer Shandy top of mind with consumers. So we leaned into Leinie’s Midwest roots to create a Wisconsin-stuffed cold treat infused with real beer (and alcohol!) with a quirky ingredient list as ridiculous as how good these things actually tasted.
Ingredients:
Creamy frozen custard base infused with the light, lemonade flavor of Summer Shandy with up to 4.2% ABV.
A cheese fudge swirl that combines the sweetness of a nostalgic chocolate swirl with the dairy state’s finest.
Brandied cherries paying homage to the state’s supper club old fashioned’s garnish of choice.
Flakes of Kringle pastry to add buttery texture in honor of the Kringle capital, Racine, Wisconsin.
Sweet corn shortbread cookies envelop the Shandwich, a nod to backyard cookouts.
